State Choir Latvija is touring in Italy and France. On 31st of January in Trento and 1st of February in Bolzano state choir Latvija in cooperation with Haydn Orchestra and conductor Arvo Volmera will perform Gabriel Faure Requiem.
After concerts in Italy choir Latvija will give 6 concerts in the largest France classical music festival “La folle journée” which is taking place in city Nantes.
On 3rd of February at 21.15 State choir Latvija together with Latvian National Symphonic orchestra and conductor Andris Poga will perform Beethoven’s 9th symphony with soloists – Iava Parša, Liene Kinča, Andris Ludvigs and Rihards Mačanovskis.
On 4th of February at 12.30 in Anna Pavlova hall together with conductor Māris Sirmais choir will perform its solo program. And afterwards, at 17.00 in Vaslav Nizinsky hall choir will perform Luis Bacalov’s Misa Tango.
On the same day, at 22.15 together with soloists, Latvian National Symphonic orchestra and conductor Andris Poga choir Latvija will perform music from Carl Orff and Alexander Borodin.
